Packing up

For the next few days we will all be anxiously packing our bags, under 60 pounds, of course. Mine has very minimal clothing in them. Mostly it is filled with snacks for lunches and my hungry worm. Many questions lie ahead waiting for us to answer them. I've started preparing for our long 18 hour flight that leaves Saturday morning from Dulles around 10 am. I've been finding and packing books, games, coloring books, everything you can think off. Last, but not least, music. I have too much music to take, but I will need every bit of it!

Saturday will be a bit hard for me, after leaving all of my friends and sweet pets home alone. I am very fortunate enough for my mom to be able to drop me off on Saturday morning. But I will cry when she leaves, I cry now at the thought of the whole group leaving. But off to better things we go, so we can come home and share with our loved ones.

Good blog - very well written. Don't you think your pricture makes you look a little goth? Have fun - it takes great courage to embark on this kind of adventure
